Thank you John. I do love the mountain wildflowers. However, the Midwest is calling and I just may have to spend some time next summer in IL, MI and WI. Nothing like picking my own blueberries and taking in the lush vegetation of the Midwest 🙂

Sooo pretty! I love wildflowers! And Colorado, of course! Amazing shots. Are you loving your new camera?

Thanks Linda and yes I’m enjoying the new camera but there’s a story behind that LOL. As much as I’m dying to get up to the Tetons and Yellowstone, I’m very much enjoying our relaxed pace here in Denver. Aug 6 Logan flies in for a week and then Aug 15th we have a res in Rocky Mtn NP. Should be a fun month.

Oh, that sounds fantastic! I can’t wait to do all that next summer. We are just eager to get our solar panels so we’ll feel free to roam!!

Those panels should really offer you some flexibility. Perhaps we’ll need to schedule a rendezvous in CO next summer and have a little corn holing competition? 🙂

Thanks ML. I took that one a couple of years ago with my little waterproof point and shoot camera. We were camped at Steamboat Lake and it was raining on and off. It was just such a beautiful location I couldn’t sit in the RV. Walking in the light rain was fun 🙂

Beautiful pics…Right now the flowers here are very pretty too…we have had so much rain. I really do love the wildflowers of Texas, the Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush…and the desert cactus flowers are short lived but amazing too! Soooo many flowers , sooo little time!

Just got back from Golden Gate Canyon SP and it was warm there as well… not 100 but already in the 80’s by 11:00 and climbing. We tried to go to Mt. Evans but closed due to a cycling event and it was quite chilly even at the base. I’ll be working on my State Park post soon. Do you ever use your first name in the blogosphere?

Sorry to just now be getting back to you! Kind of covered up here recently working on an insurance claim for our roof damage from hail, among other things. I will definitely be watching for your posts on the state park! We are hoping to get up there soon but not sure if it will work out… flying up for a long weekend. So many things to deal with here and hubs has to go out of country for two weeks in August now. I don’t plan to use my name on my blog but happy to share with you! — Denise

Beautiful flower photos, Ingrid! I love the butterfly in the opening shot:) The gorgeous resort we just left in Empire, MI has huge areas of wildflowers throughout. The sites are set up in a pinwheel fashion which is great for privacy and the wildflowers and grasses are allowed to grow naturally. They only mow around the edges. It is so nice to look out at all the flowers. I thought it was a clever idea. I guess it goes with the name Indigo Bluff:)

Thanks Pam. When Ashton and I visited MI, she could not get over the lush vegetation. She grew up mostly in Colorado thus she was intrigued with the dense green foliage. Sounds like you stayed at a beautiful resort.
