Silence Sunday Foto Challenge: Silence

I thought I’d take a quick break from all our route planning and share a few photos.  Yep, it’s just about time for us to hit the road and get those RV wheels rolling in a new direction.

When Cee posted about today’s photo challenge, I knew just the photographs that reflected the word ‘silence’.  It was a peaceful, quiet, and foggy morning along the Texas Gulf Coast……Silence Sunday Photo ChallengePhoto Challenge Silent SundayPhoto Challenge SilenceNow back to that travel plan…..I’ll post about that tomorrow 🙂

  1. Beautiful photos, you’ll love Valley of the Gods one of our favorite places, can’t wait to get there with the rv and spend some real time.

    1. Yes, we loved Valley of the Gods and may even try and boondock there next fall on our way south. But we enjoyed 4 nights at Goosenecks SP. Gosh, what’s not to love about Utah?

  2. Hi Ingrid, I took a swipe at the game on the top of your page, the cursor went strange and Internet Explorer blocked a pop up. I had to come out of your blog and go back in. Thought you should know. Love your spooky photos.

    1. Thanks Lu. I loved my time along the Gulf Coast.
And what makes all those stunning red rock buttes and spires in Utah? WIND!!! We need to delay our departure for 2 days due to high winds and snow/sleet in Flagstaff. It’s that time of year and flexibility is the name of the game 🙂

  3. Your photos are gorgeous, and capture perfectly those early morning moments of meditative stillness on the Texas Gulf coast. Magical. I think the last one may be my favorite, as well. Excellent perspective!

    1. Thanks Laurel. There is a special beauty along the Gulf coast and I especially enjoyed the early mornings…..just me, the birds, and the sunrise….throw in a little fog for fun and ahhh!

    1. It’s been fun to see which photo folks pick as a fave. My favorite is the first one for some reason. I don’t miss the humidity of the Gulf Coast but I do miss the birds and these tranquil moments.

    1. Some photo challenges are easier for me than others and this one was definitely easy. I remember the morning I took those shots and it was so quiet and still 🙂

      1. It is so hard to watch others in my favorite places. But I am only two months away from beginning our return!!! Wahoo!!

Have an awesome time and take a ton of photos for me:)

        1. FYI…..we’re using some of your posts from last year for ideas. Thursday we’ll stop at Goosenecks for a couple of nights (providing winds don’t drive us out) and tour Valley of Gods. Thanks for paving the way 🙂
